Rocket City Softball Showcase Events
This is not a "stay to play" event.
Game balls will be provided to umpires at the start of each game.
It is each team's responsibility to replace foul or home run balls.
Each team will play 4 or 5 showcase games - (depending on which event) weather permitting- (free substitution) with an 80 or 120 minute finish the BATTER.
Please keep the games moving.
A walked batter can stay at the plate and resume a new count or take a base.
You cannot do both, batter will get one additional at bat a second walk is a walk.
Each team MUST have and show insurance, it is the coaches responsibility to make sure pick up players are insured. Teams must check in before the first game.
We will have a team check in before your first game with the tournament director, Andy or Dale.
DROP-OUT POLICY:
When a team is accepted up to 1/2 entry will be Maximum refunded to a team that drops out once entry has been paid. September 1 is the entry deadline. Once the schedule is made no refunds will be issued. If a team drops the team game fee will be refunded after the tournaments conclusion.
WEATHER POLICY:
WE WILL DO EVERYTHING WITHIN REASON TO GET ALL GAMES IN BUT IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY:
REFUNDS ARE NOT GUARANTEED BUT ALL CIRCUMSTANCES WILL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION.
CAMP:
No refunds will be issued for camp. If your player does not show up for camp, NO refund will be given. On occasion inclement weather, or other uncontrollable events, may occur on the camp date, during the camp, immediately after the camp or prior to the camp. Every effort will be made to hold the camp regardless of inclement weather. Inclement weather is not grounds for a refund.
ALL REFUNDS WILL BE AT THE DIRECTORS DISCRETION.
IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJUST GAME SCHEDULE/ LENGTH OF GAMES, ETC, IN THE ATTEMPT TO GET GAMES IN.
Open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender)
