Rocket City FALL FINALE NOVEMBER 7-8, 2020
This is not a "stay to play" event.
Game balls will be provided to umpires at the start of each game.
It is each team's responsibility to replace foul or home run balls.
Each team will play 4 showcase games - weather permitting- (free substitution) with an 80 minute finish the batter.
Please keep the games moving.
A walked batter can stay at the plate and resume a new count or take a base.
You cannot do both, batter will get one additional at bat a second walk is a walk.
Each team MUST have and show insurance, it is the coaches responsibility to make sure pick up players are insured. Teams must check in before the first game.
We will have a team check in before your first game with the tournament director, Andy or Dale.
The Covid policy provided by the Huntsville Sports Commission must be followed at all times.
DROP-OUT POLICY:
When a team is accepted up to 1/2 entry will be Maximum refunded to a team that drops out once entry has been paid. September 1 is the entry deadline. Once the schedule is made no refunds will be issued. If a team drops the team game fee will be refunded after the tournaments conclusion.
WEATHER POLICY:
WE WILL DO EVERYTHING WITHIN REASON TO GET ALL GAMES IN BUT IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY:
1 GAME PLAYED WILL RESULT IN 50% of the entry fee, no refund of gate fee.
2 games played constitutes NO REFUND.
THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR WILL PRORATE ANY REFUNDS WHILE TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION TOURNAMENT EXPENSE/COSTS.
REFUNDS ARE NOT GUARANTEED BUT ALL CIRCUMSTANCES WILL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION.
IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJUST GAME SCHEDULE/ LENGTH OF GAMES, ETC, IN THE ATTEMPT TO GET GAMES IN.

Via the HUNTSVILLE SPORTS COMMISSION COVID-19 GUIDELINES:
- By Alabama state ordinance players, coaches, officials and spectators over the age of five are required to wear a mask or other facial covering that covers his/her nostrils and mouth at all times except when a player or official is directly participating in the athletic activity.
- A minimum of six feet of social distancing is required between people of different households off the field. Players, coaches, officials, and spectators should refrain from high fives, handshakes, and other physical contact.
- Players, coaches, and officials should not share water coolers, drinking stations, water bottles, cups, or other drinking devices.
- By attending & participating at the Rocket City Showcase all visitors and team members acknowledge the risk associated with COVID-19 and assume all risk of such exposure.
